Co-host Kristal, has an MA in ancient and classical history, but instead of pursuing history professionally, went with the path of social work. She decided to start this podcast with her daughter, Trista, as a way to continue researching fascinating historical events.

Trista, a talented writer, is pursuing an English degree and continues to write her own works of fiction as well. Her first full length novel is in editing for publishing.
